Clicka privacy policy

This policy describes the current Clicka features and operator information.

1. What Clicka does

Clicka offers place articles, photo composition examples, a camera with optional reference images, a photo Gallery, two Shotbooks and maps. The information below describes these current features. Google and other external services have their own data practices; the absence of a separate Clicka upload server does not mean that all processing stays on the device.

Clicka is designed and promoted for people aged 13 and above, including teenagers aged 13–17 and adults of all ages. It is not directly aimed at children aged 10–12. This audience statement is not an age-verification, installation-blocking or parental-consent feature, and it does not by itself resolve the privacy requirements that apply in each region.

2. Photos, reference images and AI examples

Camera permission lets you take photos when you choose. Photos are saved in Android's shared photo storage under Pictures/Clicka. The app Gallery reads image information in that folder and its subfolders to show your photos. A reference photo that you choose through Android's photo picker is read on the device so that its size, orientation and image can be displayed. The system picker may also offer photos from a cloud photo provider that you use.

Clicka's current AI composition examples are images included with the app. In the current photo and reference-image features, Clicka does not send your photos to an operator upload server or a remote AI image-generation service. This does not cover communications by service providers, Android backup, photo-library synchronization or sharing that you initiate.

3. Optional location and photo metadata

If you allow location access and turn on device location services, Clicka may obtain the last available location through Google Play services and write its coordinates into a captured photo's GPS metadata, known as EXIF. A capture time may also be stored. If permission or location is unavailable, this GPS-writing step is skipped.

The last available location may be old, approximate or inaccurate. Its time and position may differ from where and when you take the photo; Clicka does not check how old that stored location is. Do not rely on it as proof of the precise capture location. You can change location permission in Android settings. The locations shown on article maps are published place coordinates, not a display of your device location. No current Clicka path was identified that sends the captured photo's coordinates to an operator server.

Google Play services may process information under Google's policies and your device or account settings. If Google Location Accuracy is enabled, Google says it periodically collects information such as wireless signals, device-sensor data, GPS location and IP addresses to improve location accuracy. This is provider processing, distinct from Clicka writing available coordinates locally into a photo. The complete communications, retention and deletion behavior of that provider has not been independently verified for this policy.

4. Maps and external services

When you open a map, Google Maps SDK for Android communicates with Google. According to Google's disclosure, the SDK automatically collects IP address, device and request information, a service-specific pseudonymous identifier and crash information to provide and improve Google services. Depending on how the map is used and configured, it can also collect map interactions such as panning and zooming. A map area that you view is not necessarily your physical location. This description follows Google's published information and is not a new measurement of network traffic.

Google processes Maps information also for its own service purposes, including providing and improving its services, and independently determines its purposes and means for processing personal data as described in the Maps terms. Its handling is not limited to acting on Clicka's instructions.

Article videos, photos, credits, licenses and external map links open another app or browser. Their providers may process access information, including IP address, according to their own policies. An external map destination uses the article's published place coordinates; the current Clicka link does not append your device's GPS location.

This policy website Cloudflare Pages is the hosting service selected for these policy pages. When you visit them, Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request, traffic-routing and system information to deliver and protect the site. Its policy distinguishes customer-accessible logs from network data and describes different roles for different processing.

Clicka adds no separate advertising or analytics tools and selects neither Pages Functions nor Web Analytics for this site. That does not guarantee the absence of hosting logs or security cookies, which depend on the service and settings. This website notice is separate from the Android app, Maps, location and backup features described above.

Cloudflare bases retention on processing purposes and legal requirements; this notice promises no fixed log-retention period or deletion of all provider records. Contact Clicka as described in section 7 about records it controls. For provider-held information, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy and rights procedures; Clicka cannot promise access to or deletion of all provider logs. Cloudflare privacy policy.

5. Shotbooks, selections, settings and backup

The two Shotbooks keep saved guide or article identifiers, ordering and save times in app storage. Example choices keep the article and example identifiers. Language and help preferences are also stored locally. Chosen reference images are used in the current screen and camera state; the current Clicka feature does not upload them to an operator server.

Android backup is allowed by the app's current configuration. Depending on Android, the device manufacturer and your account settings, app records may be backed up or moved to another device. Photos in the shared library may be synchronized separately by your photo provider. These features mean that records are not guaranteed to remain only on one device. This policy does not claim that backup, transfer, encryption or deletion has been tested for every device or provider.

6. Sharing and deletion

When you share a photo, Android lets the recipient app read it. Clicka does not create a separate copy with GPS metadata removed for sharing. The recipient may receive the photo's embedded location and time as well as its image. Check the photo and its metadata before sharing. The recipient's handling follows that service's policies.

You can request photo deletion through the Gallery or Android photo tools; Android may ask for confirmation. You can remove saved items from either Shotbook. Local preferences and selections follow Android app-data and backup or restore behavior. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not guarantee deletion of photos in shared storage, cloud backups, copies on another device or images already shared with someone else. Clicka cannot promise to delete records held by Google or another external service; their retention and deletion procedures apply. No app-account registration or operator-held photo upload store was identified in the current features described here.

7. Review, contact and changes

Android's app storage and permissions help control access to local records, but they do not guarantee protection across every device, backup or sharing recipient.

The app operator's public name is Clicka. For privacy inquiries or data deletion requests, email clicka@specialone.kr. Tell us the type of record concerned and what you would like us to do. For an earlier inquiry, you can refer to that email conversation. Do not send identity documents, private photos or passwords by default.

If you choose to email this address, your email address, message and any attachments you send are handled through the email services used to deliver and handle the request. This is a separate action you initiate; the app does not automatically email photos or other app records to this address. Clicka can handle identifiable inquiry records under its control or explain how to remove records stored on your device. For information held independently by Google or another provider, Clicka will explain its limits and direct you to the provider's official privacy or deletion tools. This does not mean Clicka can identify or erase every Google SDK record.

Inquiry records are kept only as needed to respond and handle the request. After handling ends, unnecessary attachments and duplicate copies are removed, with only the minimum closure record needed for the handling retained. That closure record is removed after the result is communicated and necessary follow-up has ended, unless a specific reason for retention applies. If a specific dispute, security incident or applicable legal obligation requires retention, the reason, minimum necessary records and end condition are recorded and the records are reviewed for deletion when that reason ends. The email provider's separate recovery or backup retention may also apply; deletion from all such systems is not guaranteed.
